Fusible film with heat activated adhesive. This is a really excellent solution for bonding fabric, synthetics, leather, or some combination thereof together without any glue or contact cement required.  It is perfect for applying backing that doesn’t have adhesive, or bonding two materials without using any liquid cement or spray glue!

Manufacturer recommends using a heat press, but you can still make this work with a regular iron, Cricut EasyPress, etc if it can get hot enough.

Oily materials like oil tan leather or bonded leather may not work well with this film   

Size: 1 Yard ~54x36"

Directions:

• Cut film to size.
• Place shiny side facing first material.
• Press to adhere with heat.  Manufacturer says ~240F for 2-3 seconds. You might need to go as high as 280 or 300 (especially with leather).  Test to be sure your material can handle the heat. 
• Bend material to easily peel away dull backing and expose adhesive.  Do not pick at the backing or you may pull up the adhesive too. 
• Take care not to let freshly exposed adhesive touch itself by not bending the piece.
• Apply assembled piece to second material.  You can use another layer of film on the second piece but you don’t have to. 
• Heat press again to finish bonding.  Same level of heat you used previously and press 10-15 sec. 
• Once the pieces cool they are good to go.
